Ooze Rancher

After Fizban's, ranger is officially the class best at making friends, but we weren't satisfied with just beast friends or dragon friends. After all, fur or scales are hardly the ideal thing to have your friends be covered in; to be perfectly honest, having a friend who has skin is fairly overrated. Of course, if your friend has no skin, then you'll be able to see their guts and stuff, and that would be gross, so it'd be best for them to just not have organs either, or muscles, or bones. The perfect friend, all in all, would have to be a sort of soup-like homogenate. 

Lucky for you, soup-like homogenates have a name in DnD, and if you are a ranger with perfect friends, that makes you our newest ranger, the Ooze Rancher! Now, your favorite part of your summoned friend is the entire friend, as all parts of the friend are composed of the exact same continuous substance. 

As a subclass, the ooze rancher gains an ever-larger ooze companion, but also becomes slowly more like their ooze, making them ever harder to hurt or cut parts off of. Once your ooze is large enough, you become able to ride it across the battlefield, making you a fearsome, if not all the quick, opponent. Eventually, your ooze even gain the ability to heal you with it's strange chemical body, causing the line between ranger and ooze to become frighteningly thin.
