Tons of the classic vampires you’ve heard of are dignified and well-bred, but not everyone can afford that sort of high-class blood sucking. It can be tough to even find people to drink, some of us have to drink the blood of livestock! Hell, for the blood-thirsty hound on a serious budget, sometimes you can’t even afford thumbs.

Today, we have a classic of folk myth, the Chupacabra, poised to suck the life out of more than just a few goats. Built as an ambush monster, Chup’ wants to leap onto the party while they’re vulnerable or even asleep, and drain you dry before the rest of the players even know what’s happening.

Chupacabra isn’t just a classic; it’s our first preview for our first Kickstarter, Curious Cryptids! On the 30th, we’ll be launching the campaign for a ~40 page bestiary of iconic and obscure oddities of North American cryptozoology, all crafted especially for your 5e table.
