Most DnD characters are in the business of remembering things, whether it’s spells, prayers, or various flavors of kicks. Whatever an adventurer is able to do, they have to have at some point learned to do it. So naturally, what could be more diabolical than a spell that unlearns?

Consume Memories is the tier 3 spell for when you get the rumblies that only childhoods will satisfy. Just pick someone you don’t really like, and steal their ability to pick locks, or to wield their favorite weapon, or any number of other things they clearly don’t need anymore; especially considering you probably just liquified their brain as you scooped a chunk of it out.
